Arista reports a first $3 billion quarter and raises its 2026 outlook to $12.6 billion
Arista, a maker of AI data-center networking, reported its first $3 billion quarter and raised its 2026 sales outlook to $12.6 billion.
On 4 August 2026 Arista Networks, a US maker of the network switches that link computers in AI data centers, reported second-quarter revenue of $3.036 billion. That was up 37.7% from a year earlier and its first quarter above $3 billion. Non-GAAP gross margin was 63.4% against 65.6% a year earlier (Arista SEC filing, 4 August 2026). On the earnings call its leaders raised the 2026 revenue outlook to $12.6 billion from $11.5 billion, and said the AI fabrics goal within it is at least $3.5 billion (Arista call transcript, Motley Fool).
Why we file it. An AI data-center networking supplier reported a record quarter tied to AI.
How we read it. Demand looks strong on the company's figures, but the outlook and the AI goal are its own statements and margin was lower than a year earlier.
Why it matters to you: AI computers need fast networks, so this shows how much gear is being built.
What this doesn't prove
Company statements: the outlook and the AI fabrics goal come from the call, not the release. A separate scale-across remark on the call cites an overall AI target of at least $3.6 billion. This item uses the $3.5 billion AI fabrics goal from the formal outlook. Gross margin was lower than a year earlier.
