Acts of Evolution is currently an independent educational research and media project. Its website, AI Map, articles, videos, newsletters and other materials are provided for general informational and educational purposes only. Nothing published here is personalized investment, legal, tax or accounting advice; an offer or solicitation to buy or sell a security; or a recommendation that any person pursue a particular investment strategy.
No advisory relationship
Steven Dudley and Acts of Evolution do not currently hold themselves out through this website as a registered investment adviser or investment adviser representative. Viewing this site, subscribing to future publications, contacting us or using AI Map does not create an advisory, fiduciary or client relationship. If regulated advisory services are offered in the future, they will be provided through an appropriately registered or exempt entity under separate agreements and disclosures.
Company and securities information
Companies are included because they help explain the AI economy — not because we believe their securities should be purchased. Public-company tickers, business descriptions and commercial relationships may change. Private companies may have limited public information. We do not guarantee that any information is complete, current or error-free.
Ticker and listing information
Ticker symbols and exchange listings shown in the company database are checked against public sources but are not live market data; we do not display real-time or delayed prices. Quote-page links send you to a third-party market-data site (currently Yahoo Finance) that we do not control; quotes may be delayed.
A listing is shown only where we have read it on a source we can cite. Where a company is private, is a subsidiary, or where we could not verify a symbol, the profile says so rather than guessing. Naming an exchange or a symbol is not a statement that the security is worth owning.
Earlier releases of this site also listed, for each company, the exchange-traded funds in which it was among the largest positions. That feature was removed on 25 September 2026. It required a fund-by-fund holdings review to stay accurate, and a stale holdings table is worse than none — so rather than show ageing figures, the site no longer references funds at all.
Email updates and what we do with your address
If you sign up for updates, your email address is submitted to Buttondown, the newsletter service that stores the list and sends the emails, and is held under their terms and privacy policy. We use the address to send those updates and for nothing else: we do not sell it, rent it, share it with advertisers, or use it to build a profile of you. Buttondown asks you to confirm the address before anything is sent, every email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list. If you would like your address deleted outright, ask in a reply to any update and we will remove it.
The updates describe dated, sourced events in the same way the map does: what happened, what the evidence establishes and what it does not. They contain no recommendations, price targets, ratings or individualized advice, and receiving them creates no adviser relationship of any kind.
Briefings and publication dates
Each briefing is headed by the date of the event it explains, which is the date that matters for reading the evidence. The launch set of briefings was written and published together when the briefings section launched on 23 September 2026, and cover events from the month before that; the briefings index says so plainly rather than implying each one appeared on the day of the event. Where a briefing draws on a signal in the map, that signal's ID stays in the map record so the event can be checked.
Every briefing is checked against its sources before it publishes. A correction is added to the briefing it changes and dated there. A published claim is not edited in silence.
Signal status, the Pulse feed and the thesis tracker
The map's colored rings, sector halos, Pulse feed and thesis tracker summarize recent dated, sourced events ("signals"). Each signal records its source, date, evidence class and magnitude. Colors are computed from published signals from the last 90 days by one fixed rule. Red means at least one major or thesis-changing headwind. Yellow means other headwinds or a mix. Green means only tailwinds. No ring means the company or sector is not yet tracked, not that it is doing well. A sector's color comes only from events about the sector as a whole, never from its companies. Rumors and unconfirmed reports are never published. Analyst estimates and internal projections reported by the media are shown only as minor signals and never change a color. A signal that would turn a company or relationship red carries a reviewer and a review time. It is not published under anyone's sign-off.
Signal status describes recent news. It does not measure a company's quality, and it is not a rating, price target, forecast or recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security. The thesis tracker follows nine conditions as a set of checkable claims. Each row names whoever stated the threshold and links to the source; where no sourced figure was found, the wording is ours and the row is labeled as such. The conditions are not our view and the tracker is not a forecast. See the trackers section above for the full statement, including that we are not affiliated with anyone cited.
The trackers on the home page
The trackers follow nine conditions that would have to hold for the AI build-out to keep being financed. They are tracked by Acts of Evolution; they are not our opinion, and the board is not a forecast. Each row states a threshold, names whoever stated it, and links to where they said it, so the condition can be checked rather than taken on trust. Where a threshold was spoken rather than written, the quotation is transcribed from the linked recording with filler words removed; nothing inside quotation marks is paraphrased. Each verdict is computed from dated, sourced signals by the same published rule the map uses.
Where we could not find a quotable figure for a condition, the row carries our own wording and says so on its face. Those rows are marked as AI Map’s working description, not as anyone’s stated figure. A verdict of “not enough evidence yet” means nothing has cleared the bar this tracker requires; it is a real answer, not a gap being filled in later.
No affiliation. Where a person or firm is named as the source of a condition, that is a citation of something they said publicly, on the date and at the link shown. It is not a statement that they are involved with this site. Acts of Evolution is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or reviewed by any person or firm cited anywhere on it, and no one cited has approved, checked or contributed to what is published here. If you are named here and believe we have represented you inaccurately, write to us and we will correct it or remove it.
The plain-English question and explanation on each row are our editorial restatement, written to make the condition understandable to a reader with no finance background. They are not claims and they carry no evidence of their own. The trackers are not a rating, a forecast, a market call, or a recommendation about any company or security, and a condition holding up is not a statement that anything is worth owning.
Sector lenses
The space, robotics and quantum computing pages are lenses, not separate maps. Each draws the same database, the same rules and the same signal layer as the full map, with everything outside one stack layer set aside. A lens shows every company in its layer plus every company directly connected to one of them, and a relationship only where both ends are in view, so no connection is shown dangling. The company counts on a lens therefore describe what that lens draws, not the whole map.
Each lens states how many of the companies in its layer have no AI business of their own today, using the same AI-exposure classification shown throughout the site. That figure is computed from the data, not written. Many companies in the space layer in particular are labeled AI-adjacent: they are on this map because of what they build, supply or carry for companies whose business is AI, and inclusion is not a claim that AI is economically important to them.
Using this data
The AI Map, its company profiles, relationships, signals, trackers and briefings are © Acts of Evolution. You are welcome to quote or cite individual facts, figures and short passages, provided you credit Acts of Evolution and link to the page you took them from. Copying the database in bulk, republishing substantial parts of it, or using it commercially requires written permission. Each underlying fact comes from the source cited beside it, and those sources keep their own rights.
No performance claims
The site does not presently publish model portfolios, investment-performance results, rankings of investment merit or individualized buy, sell or hold ratings. Any future investment-related analysis will distinguish research from advice and will include the disclosures required for its context.
Evidence and limitations
AI Map distinguishes current connections, dated events and competitive comparisons. Sources may include regulatory filings, company documentation, investor materials, government records and credible reporting. A company source establishes what that company stated; it does not necessarily provide independent confirmation. Each relationship should be read together with its source date, review date and stated limitations. Same-layer peers share an editorial stack classification; that alone does not establish direct competition. Release v3.18 (September 25, 2026) rebuilt the home page around the question the site exists to help with — whether the AI build-out keeps going — with the map as the way to look at it and the trackers as a running score beside it; it also redrew the map so that sectors no longer overlap at the scale the database has reached, and removed the ETF fund ledger described above. Release v3.17 (September 24, 2026) added 41 companies across the space and robotics layers and 154 sourced relationships, including deeper research on the most-followed companies on the map; it also corrected five existing facts by superseding entries, and added the home-page scoreboard and the two sector lenses described above. Release v3.7 (September 22, 2026) added the signal layer described above. Release v3.5 (September 22, 2026) changed how the database is stored, not what it says: every company and relationship field is now kept as a dated, sourced entry in an append-only event log, so corrections add a new entry instead of overwriting the old one. It also fixed three display bugs. Release v3.4 (September 21, 2026) added five companies to the Financial and investment layer. Release v3.3 was checked on September 21, 2026 for consistency and functionality, adding a 13th "Financial and investment" stack layer and an editorial company scale-tier used for map sizing and ranking; release v3.2 (September 20, 2026) included a targeted correction pass following an independent audit. Original company and relationship evidence-review dates are retained; a release date does not mean every underlying claim was reverified that day.
Conflicts and compensation
Unless specifically disclosed alongside relevant material, Acts of Evolution does not represent that it has a commercial relationship with a mapped company. Future sponsorships, affiliate relationships, securities ownership or other material conflicts will be disclosed where appropriate. Paid placement will not determine whether a relationship is presented as verified.
Independent professional review
These disclosures are a conservative operating starting point, not a substitute for legal or compliance counsel. Before launching advisory services, accepting clients, publishing performance information, collecting investor leads or promoting specific investment products, the site and related communications should be reviewed for the applicable federal and state requirements.
