ASM International reports a record quarter tied to AI and lifts its 2027 outlook

ASM International, which makes chip-factory equipment, reported record revenue of about 1 billion euros and raised its 2027 view on AI demand.

On 28 July 2026 ASM International, a Dutch maker of equipment used to build chips, reported record second-quarter revenue of 1,003 million euros. It said momentum in AI-related applications kept building as customers spend on future AI infrastructure. It expects third-quarter revenue near 1,100 million euros and also expects 2027 revenue to exceed the top of its earlier 3.7 to 4.6 billion euro range (ASM press release, 28 July 2026, and Q2 call transcript).
