Besi's orders more than double, particularly for AI computing, with AI about 60% of first-half equipment orders

Besi, a chip-assembly equipment maker, said Q2 orders more than doubled, particularly for AI computing, and AI is about 60% of first-half orders.

On 23 July 2026 Besi, a Dutch maker of the machines that assemble chips, reported second-quarter orders of 292.9 million euros, up 128.8% from a year earlier, with broad growth that it said was particularly for AI computing. Revenue was 249.9 million euros, up 68.7%. On the earnings call it estimated that AI applications were about 60% of first-half system orders, up from about 50% a year earlier, and said hybrid bonding customers rose from 15 at year-end 2025 to 21 at the end of Q2 2026. It expects third-quarter revenue to rise 10 to 15% (Besi press release, 23 July 2026, and Q2 call transcript).
