CrowdStrike reports record new subscription business and raises its full-year growth outlook
CrowdStrike says it added a record $333 million of new annual recurring revenue and raised its full-year growth outlook for new business to 34%.
On 26 August 2026 CrowdStrike, a US cybersecurity company, reported second-quarter revenue of $1.47 billion, up 26%. It added a record $333 million of net new annual recurring revenue (ARR, the yearly value of its subscriptions) and raised its fiscal 2027 net new ARR growth guidance by 630 basis points to 34% at the midpoint. CEO George Kurtz said AI adoption needs security (CrowdStrike results filed with the SEC, 26 August 2026).
Why we file it. Security is part of using AI at work, so record new business shows customers still adding it.
How we read it. CrowdStrike's own figures and forecast. No separate AI revenue figure. A lower forecast would change this.
Why it matters to you: as work moves to AI tools, companies keep paying to secure them.
