Hesai, a Chinese lidar maker, shipped 628,275 units in Q2, guided Q3 revenue up 38% to 45% and raised its growth-business target.

On 18 August 2026 Hesai, a Chinese maker of lidar laser sensors for cars and robots, reported second-quarter revenue of RMB860.8 million, up 21.9%, and net income of RMB70.6 million, helped by RMB59.0 million of interest income and RMB36.6 million of income from holdings. Income from operations fell to RMB2.2 million from RMB22.9 million. It shipped 628,275 lidar units, with robotics units up 193% from a year earlier.
