Rockwell Automation raises its 2026 outlook as chip and data-center customers spend more

Rockwell Automation, a maker of factory control systems, reported sales up 8% and raised its fiscal 2026 sales and profit outlook.

On 4 August 2026 Rockwell Automation, a US maker of factory control and software systems, reported sales of $2,313 million for its fiscal third quarter, up 8% from a year earlier. Organic sales rose 10%. Divestitures reduced sales by 3% and currency added 1%. Its CEO cited strength in semiconductor, data center and warehouse automation. Rockwell raised its fiscal 2026 sales growth range to between 7.5% and 9.5%, from 5% to 9%, and its adjusted earnings per share range to $13.00 to $13.30, from $12.50 to $13.10 (Rockwell, 4 August 2026).

Why we file it. A big factory-automation supplier is raising its outlook.

How we read it. Adjusted earnings leave out some items.

Why it matters to you: building chips and data centers takes automated factories, and that spending reaches suppliers like this.

What this doesn't prove

Company's own figures: adjusted EPS is non-GAAP. A divestiture reduced reported sales.
