Tenstorrent's SEC filing shows it has sold $1.29 billion of equity
Tenstorrent reported to the SEC on 9 September that it has sold $1.29 billion in an equity offering to 134 backers since 26 August. No valuation was given.
Tenstorrent Holdings Inc. filed an SEC Form D on 9 September 2026 reporting that it has sold $1,286,829,662 in an offering of up to $1,416,015,946 to 134 backers, with the first sale on 26 August 2026. The form ticks the Equity security type, lists James Keller among its related persons and was signed by him as Chief Executive Officer. It states no valuation, lead backer or use of funds. We file this because it is a company-filed financing with hard figures. How we read it: Tenstorrent reports a large new equity raise, but who led it, at what valuation and for what is not public. What would change this: a Tenstorrent announcement naming the backers and valuation, or an amended filing. Why it matters to you: it shows backers are still putting large sums into companies that build AI chips.
What this doesn't prove
