AI is not its primary economic driver: most of its revenue comes from leasing tower space for mobile networks, with data centers about 10% of 2025 revenue. Its annual report notes AI workloads may need more power and cooling than existing facilities were designed for.
Collects long-term lease payments from wireless carriers and other tenants for antenna space on its towers, plus colocation, power and interconnection fees from data center customers.
