Nabtesco states that it holds roughly a 60 percent share, on its own estimate, of the global market for precision reduction gears in medium to large industrial robots. If factory automation expands because AI makes robots more capable, the gearboxes still have to come from somewhere, and this is one of very few places they come from. Nabtesco's own robot-products page does not mention humanoid robots at all.
Industrial robot manufacturers buy its RV reduction gears and gearheads; separate divisions sell brakes, doors and aerospace components.
