Cerebras reports $180 million of revenue and $25.4 billion of contracted future revenue
Cerebras, an AI chip maker, reported its first results as a public company, with $25.4 billion of contracted future revenue.
On 12 August 2026 Cerebras Systems, a US maker of AI chips and AI cloud services, reported its first results since going public. Second-quarter revenue was $180.1 million, up 74%, and its core total revenue was $209.9 million, up 103%. Cerebras's core measures exclude non-cash amortization of customer warrants, stock-based compensation and data center pass-through revenues and costs. It had $25.4 billion of remaining performance obligations, meaning contracted revenue not yet delivered. It still lost money: its core operating margin was (16%), against (42%) a year earlier, and its GAAP operating margin was (265%), against (55%). Its chief financial officer said it plans to more than triple revenue in 2027 (Cerebras SEC filing, 12 August 2026).
