Cisco says hyperscaler AI orders reached $9.3 billion in fiscal 2026 and expects $7.5 billion of revenue in fiscal 2027

Cisco, the networking company, said orders for AI infrastructure from the largest cloud companies reached $9.3 billion in its fiscal year.

On 12 August 2026 Cisco reported fourth-quarter revenue of $17.3 billion, up 18% from a year earlier, and fiscal 2026 revenue of $63.3 billion, up 12%. Its results release points to momentum and raised expectations for AI infrastructure from hyperscalers, the largest cloud companies. It cites $4 billion of orders in the fourth quarter and $9.3 billion for the full fiscal year, about $4 billion of revenue delivered in fiscal 2026, and $7.5 billion of revenue expected in fiscal 2027. On the earnings call, CEO Chuck Robbins said hyperscaler AI infrastructure was about 6% of fiscal 2026 revenue, up from less than 2% in fiscal 2025. CFO Mark Patterson said non-GAAP gross margin was 66.3%, down 210 basis points from a year earlier (68.4% in the release), and that non-GAAP product gross margin was down 270 basis points, primarily driven by higher hardware mix and memory costs.

What this doesn't prove

Company statements: the call (CEO Chuck Robbins) gave the AI infrastructure portions of revenue (about 6% in fiscal 2026, less than 2% in fiscal 2025), and the $7.5 billion is an expectation. The margin comments are the CFO's on the call: non-GAAP gross margin 66.3% against 68.4% a year earlier in the release.
