Lenovo's server business nearly doubles to a record $8.5 billion in a quarter
Lenovo said on 13 August its AI server pipeline reached $54 billion, its own measure, and AI-related revenue grew 60% to $9.3 billion, 35% of the group.
On 13 August 2026, Lenovo reported first-quarter fiscal 2026/27 group revenue of US$26.9 billion, up 43% year on year. Its Infrastructure Solutions Group reported record revenue of US$8.5 billion, up 98%, with operating profit of US$777 million. Lenovo said its AI server pipeline expanded to US$54 billion, up 157% quarter on quarter. The pipeline is Lenovo's own measure. Lenovo also said AI-related revenue grew 60% year on year to US$9.3 billion, 35% of group revenue. Its definition covers AI-equipped PCs and phones, GPU servers and AI services. We file this because it is a company-reported result with hard figures. How we read it: Lenovo's server business is growing very fast, but the pipeline is possible business, not booked sales. What would change this: a slowdown in the next quarter or the pipeline not converting. Why it matters to you: it shows demand for the servers that run AI is also lifting companies better known for PCs.
What this doesn't prove
