nVent adds a 160,000 square-foot site for data center liquid cooling
nVent said on 31 July it leased a second Blaine, Minnesota site of 160,000 square feet to expand data center liquid cooling output from 2027.
On 31 July 2026 nVent said it had leased additional manufacturing space at a second location in Blaine, Minnesota. The 160,000 square-foot site will expand its capacity to make data center liquid cooling solutions, which the release says support demand for liquid cooling that enables artificial intelligence and high-performance computing. It said the site is expected to begin production in the first half of 2027 and employ more than 200 people, and is its third liquid cooling expansion in three years, adding more than 400,000 square feet of new space overall. We file this because it is a company-confirmed capacity expansion with hard figures and an AI link in the company's own words. How we read it: nVent expects liquid cooling demand to stay strong enough to keep adding factory space. What would change this: a delay to the 2027 start. Why it matters to you: it shows the cooling gear for AI data centers is getting more factory capacity.
What this doesn't prove
Company announcement. The site is leased and not yet producing. Production and the 200 jobs are expectations. No funding amount or output figure was given.
Next fixture
