Prysmian raises full-year guidance, citing AI-driven infrastructure demand
Prysmian said on 30 July that second-quarter Adjusted EBITDA rose to €730 million and raised its full-year guidance, citing AI-driven infrastructure demand.
On 30 July 2026 Prysmian reported second-quarter revenues of €6,021 million, up 9.4% organically, Adjusted EBITDA of €730 million against €605 million and net profit of €323 million against €274 million. It raised full-year Adjusted EBITDA guidance to €2,800 million to €2,900 million. Chief executive Massimo Battaini said the vast scale of energy and data infrastructure required to enable the new AI-driven economy is accelerating. The release says growth in Industrial & Construction was driven by data center demand in North America. We file this because Prysmian ties its growth to AI-driven infrastructure in its own words. How we read it: cable makers are among the suppliers seeing AI-related demand in results. What would change this: weaker data center orders. Why it matters to you: AI building shows up well beyond chips.
