Siemens raises its 2026 profit outlook after record orders and a jump in data-center orders

Siemens says third-quarter orders hit a record €27.9 billion and data-center orders grew sharply, so it raised its 2026 profit forecast.

On 6 August 2026 Siemens, a German maker of factory automation, software and equipment for buildings and data centers, reported record third-quarter orders of €27.9 billion, up 14% on a comparable basis. Data-center orders grew by triple digits in nine months, to around €6 billion, and it raised its fiscal 2026 earnings-per-share outlook, before purchase price accounting, to €11.20 to €11.50 (Siemens press release, 6 August 2026).

Why we file it. Siemens sells to factories and data centers, so record orders show customers still ordering equipment for data centers.

How we read it. Siemens' own numbers and forecast. No separate AI revenue figure. A lower outlook would change this.

Why it matters to you: the machines and software behind AI are still being ordered.

What this doesn't prove

Siemens' own figures and forecast. No separate AI revenue figure, and no AI share of the data-center growth.
