Unitree Robotics (legal name Yushu Technology), a Chinese robot maker, began trading on Shanghai's STAR Market on 19 August 2026. Its listing announcement, dated 18 August, says it sold shares for gross proceeds of about 6.1 billion yuan, reports 2025 revenue of about 1.7 billion yuan, and warns that its price-to-earnings ratio is above the industry average (Unitree listing announcement, 18 August 2026, in Chinese).
Why we file it. A robot maker raising public money shows money going into physical AI.
How we read it. All figures come from Unitree's own document, and trading after the listing is not evidence here. A first report as a listed company would add detail.
Why it matters to you: robots that work in the real world need funding.
What this doesn't prove
Company's own listing document, in Chinese. It warns that its price-to-sales ratio of 35.89 is above the comparable-company average, its price-to-earnings ratio of 219.23 is above the industry average, and that the shares could fall in value later, causing losses for people who own them.
