Veeco says AI is driving robust orders and reports $200 million of advanced-packaging orders

Veeco, which makes chip-making equipment, said AI is driving robust orders and reported $200 million of advanced-packaging orders.

On 5 August 2026 Veeco, a US maker of semiconductor process equipment, reported second-quarter revenue of $193.5 million, up from $166.1 million a year earlier. Its chief executive said the rapid expansion of AI is driving increased demand across its products, with robust orders and growing visibility into 2027. On the earnings call the company said it won $200 million of advanced-packaging orders in the quarter. (Veeco SEC filing, 5 August 2026, and call transcript).
