Zhongji Innolight raises HK$53.4 billion in Hong Kong listing

Zhongji Innolight, a leading optical module maker, raised HK$53.4 billion (about US$6.8 billion) in a Hong Kong listing that began trading on 30 July 2026.

On 29 July 2026 Zhongji Innolight, which makes the optical modules that link AI chips in data centers, announced gross proceeds of HK$53.41 billion (about US$6.8 billion) from selling 54.5 million H shares in Hong Kong, before any over-allotment. Trading began on 30 July. Yicai called it Hong Kong's biggest listing in nearly seven years. Its 22 July prospectus plans about 30% of net proceeds for production capacity, citing demand for high-speed optical transceivers "driven by the continued build-out" of AI infrastructure and data center networks, and about 35% for optical R&D. Its half-year report ties growth to computing infrastructure spending (HKEX filings and Yicai).
