Amphenol reports record sales of $8.8 billion as AI products drive datacom growth

Amphenol reported record sales of $8.8 billion, up 55%, with IT datacom growth driven by AI products, and record orders of $10.7 billion.

On 29 July 2026 Amphenol, a connector maker, reported record second-quarter sales of $8.8 billion, up 55% (30% organic), and record orders of $10.7 billion. Its CEO, R. Adam Norwitt, said on the call that IT datacom sales rose 22% from the first quarter and that virtually all of that growth came from AI products. Sales include the CommScope acquisition (Amphenol SEC filing and call).

Why we file it. A connector maker says AI products drove its fastest growth.

How we read it. Record orders, but the release itself does not name AI.

Why it matters to you: every AI server is full of cables and connectors, and this firm makes many of them.

What this doesn't prove

Company figures: sales include the CommScope acquisition, and the release itself does not name AI.
