FANUC is the installed base that any physical AI software has to run on. It is now integrating NVIDIA simulation tooling and edge AI modules into its products, but the bulk of its revenue still comes from conventional programmed automation, not from learned behavior.
Manufacturers buy its robots, CNC controllers, servo motors and robomachines, plus service and spare parts.
