Applied Digital's quarterly revenue rises 322% to $341.9 million and it adds new power deals

Applied Digital reported quarterly revenue of $341.9 million on 7 October, up 322%, and disclosed a 1,200 MW gas power agreement and a Finland power option.

On 7 October 2026 Applied Digital reported fiscal first-quarter 2027 revenue of $341.9 million, up 322% from a year earlier, a net loss attributable to common stockholders of $221.0 million and adjusted EBITDA of $64.4 million. The release also says that after the quarter it secured up to approximately 1 GW of potential power capacity in Finland and entered a power purchase agreement with Base Electron for capacity and energy from an approximately 1,200 MW natural gas-fired facility Base Electron is to develop in North Dakota. We file this because it is a company-reported result with hard figures. How we read it: revenue is growing quickly but the company still reports a net loss, and the new power deals are early. What would change this: delays at the gas facility or a failure to turn the Finland option into a site. Why it matters to you: it shows data center builders are locking in power supply years ahead, which is now a main limit on building AI capacity.

What this doesn't prove

Company-reported figures. Adjusted EBITDA is a non-GAAP measure. The Finland figure is potential capacity, not an operating site. The 1,200 MW facility is to be developed by Base Electron, and the release gives no price or start date. Dates: the Finland agreement was announced in a separate release on 6 October (before this results release). The Base Electron power purchase agreement is dated 4 October in the 10-Q filed 7 October, and we found no separate press release for it. The results release is dated 7 October.
