Celestica said on 7 August it completed its equity offering, raising about $3.45 billion in gross proceeds to fund growth and capital spending.
On 7 August 2026 Celestica announced it had completed its equity offering, with aggregate gross proceeds of approximately $3.45 billion before underwriting discounts and expenses. The offering was first announced on 5 August as $3 billion. Celestica says net proceeds are expected to be used for working capital, capital expenditures and other general corporate purposes. In total it sold 11,129,031 common shares, including the full exercise of the underwriters' option of 1,451,612 shares. We file this because it is a company-confirmed financing with hard figures. How we read it: the company raised new money from shareholders to pay for growth. What would change this: a change in how the proceeds are used. Why it matters to you: it shows a key supplier to AI data centers can raise billions of dollars quickly to expand.
