Lumentum revenue passes $1 billion a quarter and guidance rises on AI demand

Lumentum reported quarterly revenue of $1.01 billion, up from $480.7 million, and guided to $1.225 billion to $1.275 billion on AI demand.

On 11 August 2026 Lumentum, which makes lasers and parts for optical links, reported fiscal fourth-quarter revenue of $1.01 billion, up from $480.7 million a year earlier. It guided first-quarter revenue to $1.225 billion to $1.275 billion, and its CEO said AI demand drives that midpoint. A one-time, non-cash $7.8 billion charge from converting notes produced a GAAP net loss (Lumentum SEC filing and call transcript).

How we read it. Strong, with a large one-time accounting loss.

Why it matters to you: AI data centers are moving to light-based links, and this firm makes the lasers.
