Digit was the first humanoid-style robot put into a paying commercial deployment, at a GXO logistics facility, and Agility rents robots by the hour rather than selling them. That makes it one of the few humanoid companies where the question is about unit economics rather than whether the robot works at all. It is not profitable.
Logistics and manufacturing customers pay for Digit under a robots-as-a-service arrangement rather than buying the robot outright.
