Cobots are the most likely place for robot foundation models to reach small and mid-sized factories first, because the hardware is already affordable and widely installed. Universal Robots is adding NVIDIA's GR00T model and Skild AI's robot brain to arms that have historically been programmed by hand.
Manufacturers, distributors and system integrators buy its collaborative robot arms and accessories.
