Vantor is the company formerly called Maxar Intelligence, renamed in October 2025. It operates high-resolution imaging satellites and sells 'spatial intelligence' - a software platform called Tensorglobe that fuses satellite, drone and ground sensor data into a continuously updated 3D model of Earth.
Vantor is the company formerly called Maxar Intelligence, renamed in October 2025. It operates high-resolution imaging satellites and sells 'spatial intelligence' - a software platform called Tensorglobe that fuses satellite, drone and ground sensor data into a continuously updated 3D model of Earth.
Vantor is one of the clearest examples of a space company whose product is now mostly AI: it has integrated Google's Earth AI models into Tensorglobe for use in classified, air-gapped government environments. Note the name carefully - Maxar was split in two, and the satellite-building half became Lanteris, which Intuitive Machines then bought.
US and allied defense and intelligence agencies, and commercial customers, pay Vantor for imagery and for licenses to its spatial intelligence platform.
